JULY
SCOE - Amazon Sellers Conference
July 8-11
at the Seattle Airport Marriott
The high-value multi-track format means that there is always
something interesting happening and something new to learn. At any given
time, you'll be able to choose from among several different sessions to
select the ones that best suit your business model.
In Seattle you will be able to ask questions and learn directly from
Amazon product managers and execs, and from other sellers. You will see
vendor products designed specifically for you. You will also talk to
other sellers who are doing what you do, gain inspiration and ideas, and
from collaborative relationships that will last you a lifetime.
Attendees come to SCOE annually from all over the world. There is no
substitute anywhere for this face to face event. We anticipate that
nearly 40% of last year's attendees will be returning, a factor that
speaks to the perceived value of this event.
If you have any questions, please send them to Rhonda Schneider, Event
Manager, at sellersconference@comcast.net. You'll receive a response
within 2 business days.
In addition to the Amazon folks and vendors speaking this year they
are doing a new peer-to-peer training day on Sunday. I'll be
speaking, as well as Skip McGrath and Joe Waynick and a few others (I
haven't heard the full line-up yet) who are volunteering their time and
energy to the day.
We'd love to see you in Seattle! For more information or to register

Sept/October
eBay on Location
Early September
Orlando Florida
Just announced last week, the second eBay On Location event for the
year will be in Orlando Florida. No dates that I noticed, but if you
aren't familiar with these events they're eBay specific venues. This
immersive event gives everyone from new sellers to top sellers the
proven tips and strategies they need to be more successful on eBay. Find
out what works best from eBay experts, business gurus and from your
fellow eBay sellers, then use that knowledge to boost your sales,
customer loyalty and profitability!
I had a great time and learned so much last year from these events -
I can heartily recommend them if you want to learn more about how to
build your eBay business - or just sell a few things around the house.

wow - that's a lot of events this year!
I have one more ... For several years I've toyed with the idea of
hosting an event here in the Northwest. The thing is - I'm sure I just
don't have the time or energy or budget to bring it together
alone... however the other day the feeling came again. I found another
beautiful little wooded park that would make an ideal setting for a get
together.
So, for my Northwest friends - let me ask you this: would you like to
have a 'day of learning' event here? If so; how, when and where? I've
created a survey to ask a few questions to see if there is any interest
in such an event.
If you are interested, please fill out my short survey at
