WordPress 2.9 was just released. Here's a look at some of the most useful new features.

I'd recommend that you wait a few days, at least, before upgrading, to ensure that your theme and all of your most crucial plugins are compatible with this latest version of WordPress.

When you do upgrade, be sure to

  1. Deactivate all plugins and

  2. Back up your blog
