I'm curious, if you want to set up a store that is completely separate from something else you already have listed as a seller, will Ebay automatically pull those items into your store? Will Ebay allow me to post items for sale independent of my Store? Enquiring minds...
Thanks
The eBay store listings are separate from the auction and fixed price listings in that they look and function the same – but go into your ‘store inventory.’
EBay store inventory is charged at a different rate than fixed price or auction listings. An auction could cost you .55 cent to a few dollars for seven days – while the same listing in the store costs only .05 cents for thirty days.
Inside the “Sell Your Item Form” you will choose which type of listing you wish your item to be listed under. When you subscribe to a store eBay offers a third tab on the “Sell Your Item Form” where you can choose the listing to be in your store.
The trade off is that store inventory does not come up in search on eBay. Thus, you are more responsible for driving your own buyers into your store. Most sellers use the advanced marketing tactics Cliff and I discuss in the eBay Marketing Bible.
Hope that helps.
